What is currently the status of the end user? 
There are many type of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, We-chat, Whatsapp, Snap-chat, Instagram and other. The current status of the end user is very active. People using the social media is always checking for update from it so that they wont be left out if there is any news posted out. Somehow there are some people that are addicted to the social media. For example, the doctor says that the youth, especially girls, they are obsessed in taking selfie is classify as a mental disorder. The audience should use the social media in a correct way to benefit themselves.


What impact will the audience have from social media?
Social media is a place, a way for people to communicate with people in a faster way. It also allow people to have social interaction with people and get the fastest news. There are many pros when people use social media. There are 5 main impacts from social media, which is news, interaction, political landscape, learning and marketing. Using the social media, the audience can receive first hand news quickly . The audience can get the news from may places such as Twitter, Facebook, or some other apps that manage by those journalist that update the first hand news whenever they get it. Apart from that, audience can also get to interact and chat with people all around the world using social media. For example, you can chat with your uncle in United State using Skype face to face. For our journalism class, we use Skype to have lecture from Ms Beatriz Lovo ( lecturer from Honduras) and it is awesome. Social media allow people to keep in touch often and it is more easy. For the political landscape, social media enable greater political awareness . For example, the re-election of the President of US , Obama and inspire the political unrest in Egypt. Social media also play a great rule in helping children and youth to learn using the information that are on social media website. The audience are able to use the social media to improve their knowledge about some particular subject. There is a change in a way for the company to advertise their product using social media. The company can do marketing using social media and attract the buyer to buy their product by creating more interesting advertisement. There are some cons for audience for keep using social media too. The youngster that use social media should be aware of those cyber crime or kidnapping. Kidnapper take advantage of the social media and use it to kidnap youngster. There is a news in US, a 20 years old man kidnap a teenager girl using Facebook and killed her. Apart from that, many people use social media to scam money from others.

What impact will social media have from audience?
The impact social media get from the audience is they change their ways and keep improving to give audience a better advantage to use their social media. For example, Facebook keep improving their layout and their design to attract new people to use it. Those We-chat, Whatsapp and other social media always try to update their quality and add some new function into it to attract people to use it. The social media is trying to meet the audience demand. When the audience want it to be fast, they make it fast.


Will the government / state change with this change in technology in Malaysia?
Yes, the people will be more advance in everything by using more better technology. For example, the government PTPTN have a twitter account, and we can ask whatever question by tweeting the stuff there and they will answer your question. This is a better way to communicate with them and a faster way. Apart from that, Our prime Minister Dato Najib Razak have a twitter account to get more better interaction with the citizen and people. I think that Malaysia will be better if the technology is getting better and better.
