The picture above shows the calculation of social media users around the world. This calculation was calculated on March of 2013, and I assumed that the number will generally increase. There are 1.3 out of 29 million Malaysian using Facebook, excluded other social media. This was quite a sum comparing to the nearby country such as Singapore and Vietnam. It proved that social media is frequently used by Malaysian. Therefore, if the social media is allowed to be censored, it could bring a huge influence towards Malaysian. Even our prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and other officer are using several social media such as Twitter. Fellow Malaysian especially the young generation who was mostly dependent towards social media would received a huge impact. They would be unable to access those considering "sensitive" information through social media and this will directly causes the development of the social to moving backward. Besides, this issue will also becoming a proof of freedom depravation among the social media, which was the controversial issue in the past few years.

As for me, I used Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram the most. Facebook is the only link for me to absorb different news all around the world. In nowadays, whenever there is a big news, the first thing that most people would do are, take photos and upload to Facebook. And so, Facebook had inadvertently became the gathering point of all kinds of news all around the world. Without Facebook, I would probably be like a frog at the bottom of a well. As to connect with my friends, I used Whatsapp. It is the only app I use as a communication tool besides calls and sms. 

To me, and also to the other youngsters, social media is the most important thing for us, to communicate, and to expose ourselves under the news around the world.
