Effects of media contents on the audience (BLOG 4)




Effects of media contents on the audiences nowadays are very strong. Audiences sometimes will influence by the media content emotionally. A simple example, when the media report that your favorite idol is no longer single, what do you react? Sad, angry, happy or else. And what if it is just a rumor that created by the media, it is just fake news…  So, I think that media are really influence people mind, action!

In other ways, audience may collect the information from other websites to get the reliable sources to compare the news published by our government, and they can conclude themselves what the news going on. In this way, we might know that most of the audience is active audience. They make up their own minds about what they see and hear and do not just rely on one side news, or maybe people in Malaysia have trained to be an active audience because they know that some news are really can’t trust. We can see that those uncle and aunty now are up to date, they always use smart phone surf internet, check the latest news. But cannot deny that still got some passive audience are strongly influence by what they see and hear in the media.

Effect of media--Trained people to be independent. What do I say so? When you are listening news that you feel illogical or weird, you will try to search as many as possible evidence to proof there got a loophole, from here you will gain many additional information out of the box.

Will the government change if there are changes in technology? Well, the answer would be yes. Government needs technology to advance their country’s economic, architecture. Government should coordinate with the changes in technology to create an advanced country.
