We all are user of social media. What consider as social media? Let discuss about it. Social media include magazine, internet forum, weblogs, social blogs, micro-blogging, social network and other. Social media are use for sharing our view or comments and a platform for gain some experience that we couldn't know from our reality life. Due to classification of Business Horizons article in year 2010, there are seven different types of social media as collaboration projects (example: Wikipedia), blog and micro-blogs(twitter, blogger), Social news networking sites(Malaysia kini), content communities(YouTube), social networking sites(Facebook), virtual game world(World of Warcraft) and virtual social worlds(Second Life).The different between social media and traditional media are make audience or journalist have more choices and less confinement. Social media can play any role and also perform it in different way.

How if social media in Malaysia been censor? Censorship will make Malaysian miss all the important information timely or we lost connect with some important information that been conceal. As we know, most of the Malaysia media been control by our government or certain party. All the information that we get from mainstream media already been filter or been choose by them, What we get is just they want audience and citizen to know, For a example, the news of election 05 May 2013. All the news and mainstream media are talking about citizen pay positive attention to government party. However, if you can get the information from website or social network, it's a lot of Malaysian are give many negative comment about government party. They are fight for their freedom but mainstream media just ignore it and publish what ever they want. This is also a main reason why young generation in Malaysia don't believe information form newspaper or other broadcast media. I am definitely be opposed to censor of social media Malaysia. However, information from social media cannot be trust 100%. Audience have to be a smart reader to filter information from social media.

As we can know from the photo above, most of the Malaysian are consume in social media. We can know form the photo, nowadays people are been influence by social media and "stick" their life with it. I do a social media consumer. I use facebook, whatapps. wechat, instagram and other. I often share my photo, give my comment and share my idea through social network. Sometime, I even create a group on social network site for easier communication with group member when doing assignment or having a event. I also doing my backup on social network for my photo or even my homework. I use social network to communicate with my friend that we don't often see each other. The most of I like is E-shopping, for a lazy people as me, the favorite is buy things online. This also make me could buy some product that don't have in Malaysia. However I think, for now generation, not only me will using social media, all the people will using social media. For a business, social media are the best place for advertise. For a student, social media are the best library to get information. That is a lot to talk about social media but the most important thing is people nowadays cannot life without social media.
