Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc etc etc. Nowadays, social media had deeply planted into our daily life. We stick ourselves into social media anytime, anywhere. When we came up with a good idea or we found a interesting news, the first thing we would do are, post it to the social media. In some ways, we are overdose towards social media.
What impact will the audience have from social media?
The most obvious thing would be overdose. It's not hard to find that almost everyone owned a smartphone and most of them are sticking their eyes on it all the times. Everyone has sort of hunger towards social media. As an example, for Facebook user, after posting a new post or a new photo, they would probably keep on refreshing to see how much likes they had gained and who commented on it. This scene could be found on other social media such as Instagram too. They could even addicted to it until they couldn't sense what had happened around them, causing the crime rate to have continuously increase.
What impact will the social media have from the audience?
In my opinion, the biggest impact would be transformation. As the increasing rate of user in social media, developers of several social media have keep on upgrading their social media, like creating an apps on both Android and IOS system, input extra entertainment application, upgrading functions to be more friendly use for users, and etc. It have given the developers the motivation to keep on upgrading their social media in order to stay competitive.
Will the government / state change with this change in technology? Malaysia?
Obviously yes. As an example, a Facebook page had been created by the Malaysia government in order to update the latest news, post about acts and laws changing, and to know what our fellow Malaysian thought about the government. Even our prime minister Najib Razak has created a Facebook fanpage to get him more close with his people.
