Honduras

I feel proud of the country in which I was born, due to the fact that since I was a child I lived  in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, my country has seen me grow day after day.

I've always said that Honduras is a beautiful country,  has natural resources, many tourist attractions, extensive wildlife, and beautiful beaches. I really like visiting many places like the aforementioned, although I accept that I don't know many places here in Honduras as other people know . I would like to visit the villages and rural life, crafts, and rustic places.

Many persons complain about the country, but they do nothing to begin changing our country. Always choosing the same people to govern us, they do not change their way of thinking. They are always negative about the country, many of them go for the "easiest path". Corruption is one of the biggest problems our country , but omitting all those things I believe if we change our way of thinking we can start making something for our country.

I truly admit that Honduras is a dangerous country, but in all of the countries in the world exists robberry, killing, rapes, and abductions. All this problems  are already part of the society not specifically Honduras. I don't  understand why there are  Hondurans who denigrate their own country.

Honduras has to struggle with many things, such as organised crime. It is a shame that people lose their life  due to people wanting to inform foreigners the situation of the country,  as in the case of some journalists.

Honduras is a beautiful country and I think we need to change our mentality. First change our attitude, and then put into practice what we talk to see progress thus achieve to be better day by day.

I live in a country where I have access to all kind of information through the internet, I thank God that I can be aware of what happens around the world, whether news or  entertainment  we must learn to value and how to use the media for good things.

Honduran cuisine is very exquisite yet very breathtaking such as: baleadas, Plato Tipico, Tamales, Torrejas, Atol, Carne Asada, Plum in Honey, Tortillas and more.
