What does it mean to be honduran?

Honduras is a beautiful country and I'm really proud of it even when politicians and other mean people do whatever they want just because they have power and a tons of money... but being honduran means to fight for my country because i born here and i wanna live here the rest of my life to enjoy of the delicious meals that we have here, the amazing people, the natural wonders, the amazing cities and small towns and a lot of other kind of things that i'm just in love of Honduras.

Honduras have seven ethinic groups, which are Garifunas, Tolupanes, Lencas, Misquitos, Pech, Chortís, Tawahkas. Is an multi.ethnic country, the population comprises 85% Mestizos, 6% Amerindian, 8%  Caucasian and 1% black. We come from different races, such as spanish, german, italian, arab, africans and others, we are a mixture of races, but we all respect each other no matter which is our ancestry.  In our country we don’t have racism issues, I think is because we come from different races, and there is not a specific way of “honduran looking”, we are all hondurans.
In our gastronomy, you can find the delicious baleadas and burritas that are made from tortilla, egss, beans. Our gastronomy is very varied and our diet consists of tortillas, platain, eggs, beans, corn, rice, sea food and many more. It depends also on the region, because gastronomy varies from the region, that can be divided by North, South, Central, Westerm.

Honduran cuisine is very exquisite yet very breathtaking such as: baleadas, Plato Tipico, Tamales, Torrejas, Atol, Carne Asada, Plum in Honey, Tortillas and more.
